Terms of Service for Score Sensei

Welcome to Score Sensei. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Score Sensei mobile application (the "App") operated by Joe Vander Veen ("we", "our", or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Score Sensei is a disc golf analysis app that provides:

• Round tracking and scoring
• Form analysis using video recordings
• AI-generated insights and feedback
• Performance statistics

You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial disc golf improvement purposes.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including:

• Videos of your throwing form
• Round data and scores
• Profile information

By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, process, and store it to provide the App's services (such as generating form analysis and insights).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes others' rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
• Interfere with the App's operation
• Share your account with others

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. If applicable:

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding your content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Form analysis or AI feedback will be accurate
• Using the App will improve your disc golf game

The App provides general feedback and is not a substitute for professional coaching. Use the insights at your own discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends, but these Terms will continue to apply to past use.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
