Joe Vander Veen ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Score Sensei mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

- Round Data: Disc golf scores, course information, disc selections, and shot details you record
- Form Analysis Videos: Videos you record or upload for throw analysis
- Voice Recordings: Audio when using voice input for round recording (processed and discarded after transcription)

- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: App interactions, features used, session duration
- Crash Reports: Technical information when the app experiences an error
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App's functionality
- Generate AI-powered insights, stories, and feedback about your rounds
- Analyze your throwing form using computer vision
- Improve and personalize your experience
- Send important notifications about your account or the App

Access and Deletion

Account Deletion
To delete your account:
- Go to Settings in the App
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
This will permanently remove your account and all associated data.
Device Permissions
Camera
- Used only when you choose to record form analysis videos
- Videos are uploaded for AI processing and deleted within 24 hours
- You can revoke this permission in your device settings at any time
Microphone
- Used only when you actively use voice input for round recording
- Audio is converted to text in real-time; raw audio is not stored on our servers
- You can revoke this permission in your device settings at any time
Speech Recognition
- Used to convert your spoken round descriptions to text
- Processing occurs on-device and/or via Apple's speech recognition services
- Only active when you tap the microphone button to record
- No audio recordings are stored after transcription
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party services listed above that help us operate the App
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
